Looking for a new dentist in Asheville, North Carolina?

Very friendly, professional and uses state of the art equipment. All the staff is great. I really like Mr. Gillespie. Makes you feel comfortable. Billing department was great.
Highly recommend.

You walk in the door and there sits Cindy with a big cat like smile waiting to greet you. Then Donna the dental hygienist comes to get you and she is world class at her job with a personality to die for. Then the man Dr. Gillespie comes in with a big "how are you" and his gold standard positive demeanor. He filled a cavity for me and I'll be darn if I could feel a thing. So why would you go anywhere else?

I had an amazing dental experience at Gillespie Dental Associates. Everyone was very nice and caring. My treatment was clearly described and then performed perfectly. I am extremely happy with the results. I am glad that I have found a new dentist office!

The comprehensive approach to my first appointment was impressive. Additionally, the care and cheerful thoughtfulness of the staff was very much appreciated. Having the perspective of having been married to a dentist in my youth, I was most impressed with the leadership of Dr. Tim Gillespie and his thoughtful approach for the long term good of his patients and staff.

Since the day I stepped into their office, everyone at Gillespie Dental Associates has made me feel comfortable and welcome. My dental hygienist, Mary Kathleen, is fantastic and we get along very well. So glad I found this great local dentistry!

Visited this office in an emergency situation. My regular dentist was out of town. Treated like “part of the family”. Thank you so much for taking my situation seriously!!! And fixing me up!!!

I love this office. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My teeth feel fantastic after Mary cleaned them. I like Dr. Gillespie very much. When I had my first visit, a very thorough assessment was done.

This office has a wonderful, kind staff that is honest, upfront and always offers options with explanations. Specifically, Donna, my hygienist, Katie who is at checkout and Dr. Peterson are incredibly knowledgeable and truly genuine, which makes going to the dentist a great experience.

I was visiting from out of town and developed a crown issue. I emailed the office on Friday, they called Monday and saw me the same day. I was very appreciative and all the staff could not have nicer. Thank you!

They have a new dentist, Dr. Murdock, and she is awesome. Thorough, smart and nice. I'm sad to say I don't remember the assistant's name, but she too was great.

This was my first appointment. The staff were friendly and well trained. The dentist was kind and listened to my concerns. The cost of my treatment was below my expectation. Overall it was great.

Wonderful staff! Everyone is very caring and welcoming. I have anxiety about going to the dentist (like many people) and really appreciate their understanding and compassion.

This was my first dental appointment in over nine years. Nine years ago I had a dental implant installed. The doctor that installed the implant and my dentist at that time were unable to place a cap to the implant that would stay in space. During this visit, the hygienist took many pictures and x-rays. The dental physician studied these and told me the reason the cap would not remain in place and said she could solve the issue. Everyone was very kind and understanding. I am looking forward to having this problem resolved.

Very Good. Mary took a lot of time with me and apparently I need a lot of work :( So I will be back. Everyone in the office was very nice and I feel like they cared about me and my health. I would very much recommend. Things seem to be a bit pricey but post covid that seems to be a thing. So I am just thankful they will see me and care about my teeth.

When my regular dentist was unavailable for a dental emergency, a friend suggested this practice. On the same day I called, they gave me an appointment w Dr Peterson. The office staff was wonderful and compassionate. The whole experience was amazing and my dental emergency was resolved. I have selected this practice and remain impressed w their quality of care

Great group of folks. The dental work I needed was somewhat urgent (an old inlay from another dentist had fallen out); Gillespie got me in the same day I called, and was able to quickly fit and restore the original inlay, saving me quite a bit of money vs. having to get a new one. Both Dr. J. Peterson and Ashley were fantastic. Very much appreciated.

Mary was amazing and took such good care of me. I hadn't had my teeth cleaned in years and she made me feel so comfortable and explained everything as she went!

Across my 11 years under their care, everyone at Gillespie Dental Associates has been professional, thorough, and skilled. Lindsey Newton, in particular, patiently answered my technical questions, carefully assisted throughout my procedures, and kindly created a welcoming atmosphere.

In spite of my existing medical challenges which complicated my dental procedure, Dr. Gillespie and his assistant did a wonderful job. I felt very confident that I was in good hands. He and his staff, in my opinion are the best. I highly recommend them.

Dr GIllespie and staff are the most professional, thorough and well equipped office I've ever experienced! Their diagnostic equipment i state of the art and found issues a previous dentist office could not see. I used to have a lot of anxiety around going to Dentist's offices - to be fair, it's still not my favorite thing to do but Dr Gillespie is so affable and obviously competent it's kind of a pleasure now. He has a GREAT staff that are kind, caring, follow up with your after care and have excruciatingly high standards for hygiene. If you're looking (and can make it into their schedule - they are understandably very busy) for a dentist, this is your place.

I have lived in Asheville for 26 years and by far the best experience I have ever had with a dentist. They are professional and I feel cared for.

Could not believe how amazing my husbands' & my dental experience was with this office, from the scheduling of appts, the front desk friendliness, the degree of compassion from all staff that he (and I) had not experienced prior with other dentists' office in my 50 years with of dental care. Dr. Haldeman took her time, educated him in my complex needs, made no judgements & actually displayed a kind & professional approach. Everyone seemed genuinely happy & proficient in their area of expertise. They have a state of the art facility performing a wide variety of dental procedures starting with full financial disclosure & a detailed plan with options. We had truly come to the reality that dental experiences were mostly negative & with a cold, uncaring approach. I would give this practice 20 stars if available.

Dr Gillespie and his staff provide excellent, safe care and look out for the long-term health of smiles. Highly recommend their services for professional, state-of-the-art dental care.

New to town and had a slight issue with a crown. They got me in right away to get that taken care of. New patient appointment was wonderful. Mary was the greatest. All the folks are friendly and they’re incredibly efficient with appointment setting. So glad to have found them. Convenient location too.

I have been going to Gillespie Dental Associates for about three years. I see Dr. Haldeman and she is incredible! I have had a variety of procedures done all of which she did an immaculate job on. All of the staff from the admin/reception to the dental hygienists and dentists are wonderful. Speaking of the reception and admin staff being great, I don't think I have ever called up there and gotten voicemail - not once. Any time I have a question about records or payment they are extremely helpful and more over it seems like everyone in the office just has a great attitude. The reviews seem to good to be true, but they aren't - they are really just this good.
Sadly, I moved to East Tennessee - but if I am ever back in Asheville, I will be back!
